Ayazuta has made available it’s free, searchable ICWA Tribal Contacts database. The database combines the latest ICWA contacts list published in the Federal Register with the latest California Department of Social Services list. Ayazuta verifies and updates every tribal contact bi-annually. This is the only ICWA Tribal Contacts resource that can be searched using tribal names or key words that link historical tribes names like “Mission” or “Sioux” to the contemporary, federally recognized tribal governments.
